Sourcing: We prioritise high-quality, plant-based ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers.
Preparation: All meals are prepared in a controlled, hygienic environment following strict health and safety protocols.
Storage: Our meals are precision-chilled or frozen immediately after preparation to maintain nutrient density and flavour integrity.
Allergen Management: Your safety is our priority. We encourage all customers to carefully review the specific allergen information provided for each meal on our website. Furthermore, we request that you state any specific allergies or sensitivities in the "special request" section when placing your order. This allows our culinary team to take extra precautions during the preparation of your fuel.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Delivery Windows: We aim to deliver within your selected time slot; however, delivery times are estimates.
Unattended Deliveries: If you are not home to receive your order, it will be left at your designated "safe place." PlantChef is not responsible for the integrity of the product if it is left unattended for an extended period.
Collections: Collection points are available during 8h00 & 14h00 in Cape Town and Durban.

Visual Representation & AI: We lean into the future of technology to visualise our creative vision. Some imagery used across our digital platforms is for illustration purposes and may be generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI). These visuals are intended to evoke the "vibe" and spirit of the PlantChef Standard.
Human Oversight & Authenticity: Although our delivery systems are automated, we are a human-led company. A dedicated team of humans is constantly monitoring, approving, and updating our online profile. While our AI-assisted visuals are illustrative, the actual meals delivered to your door are artisanal, chef-prepared products made with real, whole-food ingredients.
Content Resolution: We strive to create a harmonious and inclusive digital space. If any of our automated or AI-generated content has caused offense or concern, we invite you to contact us immediately. Our human team will prioritise your feedback and work to resolve the matter with the grace and respect our community deserves.
Platform Distinction:

Social Channels: Reserved for celebrating flavour, planetary stewardship, and high-performance biology. To maintain a focus on vibrant living, we do not discuss weight management here.
